Hot Dog! Baldy View Dog Park Is Expanding!

Calling all canines:  Paw-ty at the dog park!  The City of Upland's dog park located at Baldy View Park will begin a major renovation and expansion project this year that will bring new amenities and programming for pups, making life more fun for Upland's dog (and their owner's, too.)  Baldy View’s renovation will include a new, larger design, higher fencing, water fountains, new tables and benches, shade, and play amenities for both large and small dogs!

The dog park at Baldy View Park will be closed for renovation beginning Monday, April 22. A temporary dog park will be located at Cabrillo Park (11th Street between Mountain Avenue & Benson Avenue).

Stay tuned for renovation updates.

Olivedale Park Upgrades Coming Summer 2024!

Coming Summer 2024!! The City of Upland is excited to bring enhancements to Olivedale Park including a replacement of the existing picnic area shade structure, the addition of a second shade structure over the picnic area on the east side of the park, and the replacement and expansion of the playground area! The playground will be the first of its kind in Upland, as we are proud to bring a “universally inclusive” playground to the community. This playground will not only include traditional playground elements like slides, swings, and bridges, but it will also include multiple sensory activities, a ramp that leads to the main structure, and an Alta-Glide swing that accommodates wheelchairs. This playground will be the largest and most unique playground in the City of Upland and will be open to children of all abilities to enjoy!

Stay tuned for construction updates and the Playground Prep Day, where we will enlist the help of community volunteers to get the playground ready for opening to the public.
