The Upland Public Library provides services to help community residents obtain information meeting their personal, educational, and recreational needs. The department places special emphasis on reference services and on stimulating young children's interest and appreciation for reading and learning. The Library serves as a learning and cultural resources center for all residents of the community.
The Library Board of Trustees, as authorized in sections 18900-18965 of the State Education Code, provides guidance and public involvement in the management of the Library.
The Library Department also manages the renovated Carnegie Library building, rechristened as the Carnegie Cultural Center, located at 123 D Street. This historic building provides an excellent venue for both public and private gatherings.
The Upland Public Library is located at 450 N. Euclid Avenue.
