Afterschool Adventures

"One-derful" Storytime

This lapsit storytime is for one-year-olds and a parent to discover the joys of books and libraries through songs, nursery rhymes and fingerplays. The program will last approximately 20 minutes and is scheduled for every Wednesday at 10:00am and 11:00am.
No registration necessary, open for all.

Spotlight On Stephen Nasser

In 1944, the Nazis took 13-year-old Nasser and 21 family members to the Auschwitz and Muhldorf Concentration Camps. He was the only member of his family to survive the horrendous experience.

The Upland Library invites you to hear Nasser share his inspirational story of survival and the lessons he learned as a
Survivor of the Holocaust.

SAT Practice Exam

Students have an opportunity to take a full-length practice test, provided by Kaplan, Inc., given under the same testing conditions as the actual exams. You'll learn about the endurance and skill needed to score well on your test, and you'll get a personalized score report that shows your strengths and weaknesses.

To help you get ready for the practice test, here's a few things to know:

1. The exam room will open at 8:30 a.m. for you to have time to sign-in and get settled.

2. The test begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted!

3. Both graphing and scientific calculators are permitted for use during the exam.

We hope that you take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to boost your SAT scores! See you there!

The review session for this exam will take place on Monday, February 9th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
