Open Mic Night for Teens

Thursday, April 24th
3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Registration begins April 14th.


The art of rhythmical composition is Written… Spoken… and Performed… before you, by you. Celebrate National Poetry Month with us at the Upland Public Library. Our Open Mic Night will showcase the talented teens of Upland. Bring your original pieces or your old favorites to share. Come with an open mind and support the art of poetry. Refreshments will be provided.

Centennial Quilt being Revealed!

Come join us for the big reveal of our Centennial Quilt! After receiving over 100 beautiful quilt squares from our community, the lovely Corky Tolley will be unveiling her very large and masterful design. The quilt will hang on the back wall on the East side of the Library – over the Mystery collection. But it will be no mystery that our community loves its library! This program has been generously sponsored by the Friends of the Upland Public Library.

Naturalization Information Session

Claire Nicholson, USCIS Public Affairs Officer, will present a FREE Naturalization Information Session. The session is part of a larger USCIS initiative to help immigrants better understand the naturalization process to include the content of the naturalization test, and to become familiar with free educational resources and materials available from the agency.

His field representative for Upland, Lizette Henderson, will hold office hours at the Upland Public Library on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 4:00-6:00 p.m. beginning in January 2014.

TumbleBooks is really excited to announce the launch of the very first ebook reader for the FaceBook environment.
