Upland Police Department

Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Team's mission is to form partnerships with residents and the business community to identify high crime/problem areas within the City and to then implement long term solutions to these problems.

The Code Enforcement Team's philosophy of "long term solution" is a relatively new concept to traditional law enforcement.  Instead of being reactive to community concerns, the Code Enforcement Team draws upon a variety of community resources to proactively find permanent solutions to our community's troubles.

The Code Enforcement Team is comprised of a Sergeant who supervises the team's activities, four non-sworn officers assigned to Code Enforcement and one Business License Inspector.

The Upland Police Department's Code Enforcement is committed to making this city a safe and enjoyable place to live and conduct business.

Without the joint participation of the Police Department and the public, this commitment can not be realized.  With the implementation of the department's Code Enforcement, the City of Upland has laid the foundation for this partnership to flourish and to help maintain the city's motto of "The City of Gracious Living."

The Code Enforcement Team is located at 130 S. Mountain Ave. Suite J in the Fresh & Easy shopping center.  The office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  The receptionist can be reached between these hours at              (909) 946-9333.
