Spring is here, let’s celebrate! Our three day, two night adventure includes lodging in Pahrump, Nevada that the Nugget Hotel and Casino. This 3-Diamond property offers a large casino filled progressive slot machines, gambling tables, racing and sports arena, with Bingo! Highlights in-cludes tours into Death Valley with your step-on guide, a visit to Ubehebe Crater and Zabriskie Point, a guided tour at the famous Scotty’s Castle, a tour at the Amargosa Opera House, lunch at the Pahrump Valley Winery, and a stop at the Death Valley Visitor’s Center. Read All About It! L.A. Times Book Festival
Spend the day along the UCLA campus in Westwood for the Festival of Books. For one week-end in April, people who love books will gather with people who love to write, publish and sell books. Enjoy over 400 authors, 300 exhibits, 90+ author panels, 6 outdoor stages and 2 child-ren’s areas. Enjoy lunch (on your own) at the food courtyard. Tickets will be available at the festival for those that choose to attend and participate in a lecture.
