The Finance Committee is a standing committee of the City Council and consists of two Councilmembers, the City Treasurer (review of quarterly investment report), and a Finance Officer (staff - advisory only). This Committee shall be responsible for reviewing changes to the finances of the City. This may include reviewing warrants and registers, financial statements, investment reports, the City's annual independent audit, City fees and service charges, and operating budgets. The Committee may make formal recommendations which are then taken to the full City Council for consideration. These items can be found in City Council packets under "Council Committee Reports." Councilmembers Elliott and Garcia currently serve on this committee as well as City Treasurer Bradley.
This committee meets quarterly, the 4th Wednesday of January, April, July, and October.
