Street Tree Advisory Committee
This Committee studies and reviews the proposed Urban Forestry Management Plan and makes appropriate recommendations to Council and staff regarding the matters contained therein; provides an avenue for citizens to appeal special circumstantial tree problems (i.e., tree removals, street tree designations, spraying for fruit insects); and reviews tree removal and other policies.
This Committee meets quarterly, the 2nd Thursday of February May, August, and November at 5 p.m. Agendas are prepared by the Public Works Department. This Committee is composed of five citizens who are appointed by the City Council.
